Haunted houses, candles, skulls, and fake blood….Nope! How about some dark fairy dust, lights, and roses. A dark fantasy theme sounds just about right, who said we couldn’t have a little magic during Halloween?

Halloween is not always about making things spooky, the holiday also has its own magic to it with many twists. Chica Glamour decided to add a twist to their Halloween photoshoot with a dark fantasy theme. Our very own talented influencer Ciara Harris transformed into a Gothic Fairy, turning our whole theme dark and magical.

We at Chica Glamour believe in turning our work into what can come to life. In our case, Halloween was a great start to make every magic and fantasy into reality. We added a touch of soft pink colored nails, with a spider web design. The pink represents the influencer’s soft and kind nature, with a twist of some darkness from the spiderwebs. Her makeup look was gentle but fierce, as her dark lipstick balances out evil and good. Harris’s black dress really showed her skin tone, popped her make-up and nails, and most importantly, her fairy wings. The whole look screamed DARK and INNOCENT.

From Ancient to Dark Magic

Halloween tradition originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain. Over the years, the traditions have changed into children and adults dressing up in costumes and go door-to-door asking for candy. It is the only day that can be said to be dark and magical…you can be anything you want to transform into. Harris wanted to become a dark fairy that can also have the soft touch of fairy dust. Her envision became a reality to inspire others that they too can transform into someone that they aspire to be in life.
